Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Professional Accreditation distinguishes building professionals with knowledge and skills in environmental sustainability. By passing a rigorous accreditation exam, LEED Accredited Professionals (LEED APs) have demonstrated a thorough understanding of green building practices and principles and the LEED Rating System (www.usgbc.org). This system is the nationally accepted benchmark for the design, construction, and operation of high performance, energy efficient buildings.
